Donate | Support Our mission

Donations, bequests, fundraising, company giving and grants help us to continue working to support children and young people in our community whilst keeping Amy & Sharon’s legacy alive. You can find more information on each area below.

donations

Your donation directly supports children and young people in our community, helping them heal and grow through equine-facilitated learning. Every contribution, whatever the amount, makes a real difference and keeps Amy & Sharon’s legacy alive.

We’ve partnered with JustGiving to make donating simple and secure. Choose from one-time or monthly donations. UK taxpayers can add Gift Aid to increase their donation by 25% at no extra cost.

Your support helps us maintain our horses and facilities, and fund the transformative EFL programmes that change young lives.

Bequests

Leaving a gift for Amy’s Trust in your will is an incredibly powerful way to support our work. If you’ve heard our story, you’ll know that the set up of our provision was only made possible by Sharon Duffield’s wish to leave her estate to the cause of Amy’s Trust. However big or small, leaving a gift in your will is a deeply meaningful way to support our work across lifetimes and will never be forgotten.

How to leave a gift in your will:

Decisions to leave gifts of this manner feel deep and significant to us. If you wish to, sharing your intentions allows us to keep you up to date with the work we are doing and share our mutual passion for this transformational work.

To leave a gift in your will, you’ll require a legal advisor. They will support you to draw up or update your will. If you need help finding one, you can explore the Law Society or STEP. Contact your solicitor and let them know you’d like to leave a gift to Amy’s Trust. You can decide exactly what that gift is.

You may, or may not, wish to let us know of your decision. Either way this is your honoured decision. Should you wish to share it with us, you can contact us and let us know as little or as much as you’d like about the beautiful way you plan to support the work of Amy’s Trust.

Thank you for considering to support us in this touching way.

Fundraise for Amy’s Trust

Fundraising can be a fun and rewarding way to support our mission whilst challenging yourself!

If you’re considering undertaking a fundraising event and would like to do so on behalf of Amy’s Trust we’d love to hear from you. We’ll be cheering you on and celebrating you through your fundraising journey! Some ideas include:

  • Sponsored run/walk/cycle/ride
  • Bake sale
  • Car boot sale
  • Raffle

What ideas would you add to the mix?

Company Giving

Corporate donations are a wonderful way to support our work. When availability allows, it’s possible for corporate donations to be combined with team building ½ days for small groups. For an initial conversation about what we can offer please contact us.

Charitable Trust & Foundation Grants

Grants from charitable trusts and foundations are a huge support to us. Funnily enough, Amy’s Trust has come full circle, having previously been a fundraising organisation donating grants to charitable causes supporting children through working with horses!

As we develop we will design specific programmes and projects which charitable trusts and foundations can choose to fund, or you may prefer to make an unrestricted grant. Your interest and support is greatly appreciated. For an initial conversation you can contact us here.

GET INVOLVED

Your financial support directly impacts our ability to provide EFL experiences to children and young people suffering from mental and emotional distress. Every contribution, regardless of size, helps maintain our facility, care for our horses, and develop programmes that transform lives through the power of connecting with horses and nature.

gratitude

Thank you for being here. Your supportive presence on the other side of this screen is not underestimated. Our gratitude extends to every single person, business, organisation, horse, and blade of grass (!) that contributes to making our work possible (or easier). One way we love to celebrate our community is through our gratitude pin board – check it out!
